Baubiologie - A young branch of the natural sciences
The World Health Organization WHO announces for many years: "90% of all illnesses are caused by changed environmental conditions."
What means Baubiologie?
One understands by Baubiologie the apprenticeship of the influence of the built environment on the health of the person and the application of this knowledge in the construction. In this connection the health is understood as comprehensive, namely physically and psychically.
It is recognised increasingly that the person does not feel fine in the midst of an over technolised environment any more. Building materials and construction methods often show not enough consideration for the person because as a rule economic efficiency considerations stand in the foreground.
Which areas are looked in the Baubiologie?
- Electric smog (Elektr. Change fields, magnetic change fields, electromagnetic waves, constant electrical fields, magnetic same fields)
- Geologic disturbances (Earth magnetic field, ground radiation)
- Radioactivity (Gamma radiation, radon)
- Formaldehyde and other toxic gases
- Solvent and other brief pollutants
- Biocide and other treacly brief pollutants
- Space climate (Temperature, humidity, carbon dioxide, aerial ions, smells...)
- Mould mushrooms and their spores as well as metabolism products
